Reseda 30, Canoga Park 8--Tailback Henry McAlpine carried 17 times for 111 yards and two touchdowns to lead the host Regents in a season-opener for both teams.
McAlpine carried 14 times for 87 yards in the first half. Reseda scored its first touchdown on a two-yard McAlpine run after a fumble recovery by Reseda’s Larry Trammel on the Canoga Park 24 yard-line.
