‘Granny Killer’ Gets Life in Prison

SYDNEY, Australia — An Australian salesman who terrorized the elderly women of north Sydney for a year was jailed for life Friday for murdering six of them.
Judge James Wood said John Wayne Glover, dubbed the “Granny Killer” by the press, was cunning and extremely dangerous.
Glover, 59, had a police record dating to 1947, some of it involving sexual deviance.
