Pet Peeved

My thanks to Jerry Hulse for calling the Pet Directory to our attention--hotels/motels that permit pets in the same room with their owners (Travel Tips, Nov. 17). These are the hotels/motels that I avoid. Several recent trips have been spoiled by bites from fleas left over from a previous pet tenant. I believe I am a member of the majority that will not tolerate the detritus left by dogs or cats in a lodging that I pay for.
