Former NBA player Sylvester (Sly) Williams was being sought by police in New Haven, Conn., after he fled a hospital where he was being treated for a stab wound allegedly suffered in a fight with his girlfriend.
Police said Williams, who played for the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics during the 1980s, was being sought for violation of probation, as well as for his role in the incident with his girlfriend.
