Don’t Expect NBA Players to Go Through Emotions

Allan Malamud described the Lakers’ post-Magic win streak as “one of the most improbable in NBA history.” Give us a break, Mud!

Here are the two top reasons why the streak was no big deal:

1. Hard-nosed billionaire businessmen players (are) hardly overcome-with-emotion types.

2. The league is so weakened by expansion, Chick’s ubiquitous Sisters of Mercy would whip the likes of Miami and Orlando.
