Man Who Crushed His Girlfriend Is Sentenced

TAMPA, Fla. — A spurned boyfriend who fatally beat and crushed his former sweetheart was sentenced Thursday to 40 years in prison, more than double the state sentencing guideline.
Craig Goldberg, 19, of Clarkstown, N.Y., was convicted of second-degree murder in the July slaying of Jessica Enright, 20, a University of South Florida student.
