Laguna Hills 1, El Centro Central 0 (OT)--Julio Montes scored and Devon Higgins made 16 saves as the Hawks (18-6-3) advanced.
Montes’ goal ended a streak of 14 consecutive shutouts by the Spartans (17-1-1).
Los Alamitos 3, Pomona Ganesha 0--Teddy Watson scored a goal and assisted on both of Anthony Rosa’s scores as the Griffins (13-5-5) advanced.
Tim Gorman made four saves to post his sixth shutout of the season.
Los Alamitos will face top-seeded Bell Gardens (24-1-1) in a quarterfinal-round match Friday.
