Bed of Lawsuits: The sister of a slain Texas politician has sued ABC and the producers of the Jan. 20 movie “Bed of Lies,” accusing them of falsely characterizing her brother as an alcoholic wife-beater. The Los Angeles federal suit by Jean Daniel Murph claims that ABC broke promises made to her about the depiction of her brother, Texas legislator Price Daniel Jr., who was shot to death by his wife Vickie Daniel (played by Susan Dey). Vickie Daniel, who claimed self-defense, was found innocent.
