I confess--I do look forward to Robert Wagner’s spouting off when he gets his dander up (Times, Letters, March 1). Every community should be blessed with individuals who care as much as he does.
However, he gets lost in the feathers of his ostrich analogy when he rails against (710) freeway fighter Alva Lee Arnold and others like her. Better to be “harmed” by becoming a one-issue community, than cease being a community.
If South Pasadena becomes the sacrificial last leg of an obsolete freeway system, the issues that so concern Wagner will be moot.
