SOMBER MESSAGE: The Nixon library had planned to run its display of letters between the Nixons and Jackie Kennedy through May 29, JFK’s 75th birthday. But with new interest in the assassination, the show will be extended a month. . . . She wrote in response to a letter of condolence from the Nixons: “I would not have Jack live his life any other way, though I know his death could have been prevented, and I will never cease to torture myself with that.”
