A Musical Sting: The operators of four stores in Omaha have pleaded innocent to charges of selling obscene music recordings to minors sent by a city councilman and an anti-pornography group to buy the records in an unofficial sting operation. An attorney said he will argue there was no criminal intent when the 2 Live Crew album “Sports Weekend” was sold. Nebraska law prohibits the “knowing” sale of obscene materials to minors. A judge said a jury trial will be held in July or later. The defendants face a year in prison and $1,000 fines.
