Summer Blockbuster: Guns N’ Roses and Metallica have made it official: The bands announced Tuesday in Hollywood that they’ll team up for what may be the summer’s biggest hard-rock tour. The shows--also featuring Faith No More--will start July 17 at Washington’s RFK Stadium. The tour is expected to total about 25 concerts, including an Aug. 22 show at the Rose Bowl, where management recently approved the date amid protests from area residents concerned about noise and loitering fans.
