Schoolchildren on the Rioting

I am writing regarding the looting that occurred after the four officers, involved in the Rodney King beating, were found not guilty. I am outraged over the people who took advantage of the situation to, of all things, loot the stores in their community. The next thing the government’s going to do is raise our taxes so that the business workers can be on unemployment.
I was even more upset over the people who were interviewed on television who thought they were doing absolutely nothing wrong! What has this world come to? A boy stole a sweat shirt and his parents were proud of him! Huh? I don’t understand.
The thing that hurts me the most are the people who don’t realize what this whole issue is about or why all this chaos is breaking out.
