Bryan Ivie had 13 kills and eight blocks and Steve Timmons had 19 kills to lead the U.S. national volleyball team over Japan, 15-7, 15-7, 15-12, in a World League match at UC Irvine’s Bren Center. The United States is 2-0 in league play; Japan is 0-2.
