Coto de Caza’s Booth Leads Golf Tournament

Kellee Booth of Coto de Caza shot one-under 69 Sunday to take the lead at the Golf for Women Magazine tournament in Litchfield Park, Ariz.

Booth, a sophomore at Santa Margarita High School, has a two-round total of 142 and leads Kelli Kuehne of Dallas by a stroke entering today’s final round on The Wigwam Resort Blue course.

Alicia Allison of Santa Ana is 14 shots behind Booth, and Susie Park of Buena Park is 15 back. Eunice Choi of Laguna Hills shot 158.

Ben Garner of Lake Forest is tied for fourth with four others after two rounds of the CCA junior championship in Akron, Ohio. Garner, a sophomore at El Toro High, shot five-over 77 on the Firestone Country Club North course and has a two-day total of 151. Lee McEntee of Doylestown, Pa., leads at 148.
