In Brief : Seven Internships for Dale Ride Winners

Seven Santa Monica College students have won Dale Ride Internships, allowing them to gain experience working in legislative and political offices this summer.
The seven interns will be honored at a June 5 reception that will include special guests U.S. Rep. Mel Levine (D-Santa Monica) and Sally Ride, director of California Space Institute.
Chosen for the internships are Tricia Ornelas of Santa Monica, Christine Ernest of Los Angeles, Adam Fein of Santa Monica, Katherine Freeman of Marina del Rey, Mara Mark of Santa Monica, Reut Ness of Los Angles, and Lois Simonds of Los Angeles.
