Crimestoppers: “Comedians Against Crime: It’s No Laughing Matter,” a variety show featuring actors Bubba Smith and Marion Ramsey from the “Police Academy” movies, will be performed June 10 at the Scottish Rite Temple on Wilshire Boulevard at 8 p.m. to raise money for youth programs and crime prevention in Los Angeles. Put on in response to the L.A. riots by the Wilshire Community Police Council, a nonprofit group of business and community people, the show will include stand-up comics provided by the Improv.
