Trestles Trip--The Sea & Sage chapter of the National Audubon Society is hosting a trip to the Trestles area at San Onofre on June 16. The special midweek trip, when the area is not crowded, will give participants a chance to look at birds in several different habitats, including sage scrub, riparian, lagoon and beach.
The types of birds most likely to be spotted include red-shouldered hawks, red-tailed hawks, yellow-breasted chats and pied-billed grebes with their young.

Lagoon Field Trip--The South Coast chapter of the National Audubon Society is sponsoring a bird-watching field trip to San Elijo Lagoon, on the coast of northern San Diego County, on Saturday.
