Access to Face-Value Tickets Is the Real Problem for Buyers

Those most affected by Ticketmaster’s policies are rock-concert patrons. For those fans wishing to attend a major pop or rock concert in Los Angeles, Ticketmaster is the only game in town.
Don’t think Ticketmaster “gouges” its customers? We called up the main phone line to inquire about cost and availability of four tickets to a play at the Henry Fonda Theatre, and, after being told there would be a barrage of $22.05 in assorted “convenience” fees ($5 per ticket plus a $2.05-per-order processing fee), we declined.
We predict that Ticketmaster’s days are numbered.
