Court Ruling on Prop. 13

Now that the Supreme Court has affirmed California’s “right” to levy disproportionate property taxes, any remedy for recent home buyers must come from our state government. I have a plea and a warning for the “I’ve got mine” supporters of Proposition 13:
The plea: Remember that your selfishness has helped price us, your children, out of home ownership.
The warning: Know that as soon as we, your children, are the majority of voters, we may reward your self-serving attitude by enacting our own proposition--one which benefits us at your expense.
Think about it.
