La Verne : Council Honors Students

The City Council on Monday honored three La Verne junior high school students for turning over to police $1,000 worth of drugs they found as they were walking to school.
Joshua Clarke, Jared Siegler and Richard Thompson-Vegas were presented with the city’s Community Service Award, the La Verne Police Department’s Commendation Award, T-shirts and flying disks from the DARE anti-drug program, and free passes to Raging Waters.
