Year of the Women: The Hollywood Radio and Television Society, following tradition, will open its Newsmaker Luncheon series Wednesday by interviewing the four network entertainment presidents, but this year’s event will have a twist. The network chieftains, all male, will be questioned by three top women of TV: Debbie Allen (producer-director of “A Different World”), Diane English (creator of “Murphy Brown”) and Lucie Salhany (chair, Twentieth Television). Says HRTS President Warren Littlefield, who is also president, NBC Entertainment, “We thought it was time to add some balance to our quartet of entertainment presidents.”
