Recognizing Work in Our Communities

I want to congratulate you on the creation of City Times. I found it refreshing, warm and empowering. It’s about time journalists began to report some of the great work going on in our communities and pay tribute to our creative, talented and skillful residents.
As residents we need to be reminded that there is a lot more going on than just what mainstream media reports. I would look forward to reading about any efforts being made toward bringing together different communities. I also hope distribution of City Times is not limited to the communities it covers, but is widespread. We all need to read about what’s going on in these communities.
I look forward to reading the next issue. I’ve never expressed that about a newspaper before. Usually one reads the paper with dread of what is about to be discovered.
