WEEKEND TV : Shows Focus on Issues, Candidates

With Election Day only three days away, this weekend’s public-affairs shows will be full of last-minute analyses of the candidates and campaign issues. The impending event is also being infused into entertainment shows.
On the serious side, President Bush will guest on CNN’s “Newsmaker Sunday” at 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tabitha Sorensen will also interview him, Gov. Bill Clinton and Ross Perot at 6:30 p.m. Sunday on MTV.
On the entertainment side Sunday, “Saturday Night Live’s Presidential Bash” features new and old skits lampooning politicians at 9 p.m. (4)(36)(39), while Fox’s “In Living Color” (8 p.m.), “Roc,” (8:30 p.m.), “Married . . . With Children” (9 p.m.) and “Woops!” (10:30 p.m.) will have election themes.
