GOLDEN YEARS: Jack Mayes just turned 26, and already he has an $11-million company. . . . He started Cardboard Gold in Santa Ana when he was just 19. Now his company is a leading distributor of sports card accessories, including wrappers and card holders. And Inc. magazine just ranked it 74th of the fastest- growing private companies. Next up for the entrepreneur, a college dropout: “Getting back in to UCI to finish up my degree.”
