Car, Truck Collide; Woman Killed

A woman was killed in North Hollywood on Sunday evening after her car was struck by a truck, Los Angeles police said.
The unidentified woman, who was driving west on Victory Boulevard near Lankershim Boulevard, was attempting to make a left or U-turn when the truck, traveling east, collided with her car, Sgt. Willie Modrell said. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the 7:20 p.m. accident.
The driver of the truck was not cited, Modrell said.
