Felix Jackson, 90, screenwriter and producer of such early television series as “Robert Montgomery Presents” and the “Paul Whiteman Show.” Jackson began his career as a reporter, music critic and drama critic in his native Germany. Fleeing Europe to escape Adolf Hitler’s rise to power in the 1930s, Jackson found work at Universal Pictures and MGM in Hollywood writing for film. Fascinated by the new medium of television, he first wrote for the small screen and then began producing. He also worked in programming and development for NBC. On Friday in Woodland Hills of congestive heart failure.
