TRAVELIN’ MAN: To help you keep up with Leon Wood, the spectacular Cal State Fullerton guard who helped win the gold for the 1984 Olympic basketball team, here’s an update on his frequent flier miles: He was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers, then eventually played for the Washington Bullets, New Jersey Nets, San Antonio Spurs, Atlanta Hawks and Sacramento Kings. . . . Now he’s found a home: the Lyon CRO in the French League. Wood is averaging 21 points a game there, his best pro season ever.
