Bridgford Foods Posts Record Sales, Profit

ANAHEIM — Bridgford Foods Corp., which produces frozen bread dough, processed meats and other convenience food products, posted record sales and profit for its latest fiscal year. Sales for the 12 months ended Oct. 30 totaled $100.1 million, up 8% from $92.9 million for the previous fiscal year. Annual profit was $5.3 million, or 56 cents a share, up 19% from $4.5 million, or 48 cents a share. For the fourth quarter, the company reported earnings of $1.6 million, or 17 cents a share, on sales of $26.5 million. That compared to a profit of $1.3 million, or 14 cents a share, on sales of $24 million for the same period a year earlier.
