Beverly Hills : City Clerk on League Panel
- Share via
City Clerk Jean M. Ushijima has been appointed to the League of California Cities Administrative Services Committee.
The league, a coalition of all California cities, studies the impact of legislation on cities and lobbies the Legislature on behalf of cities.
The Administrative Services Committee, one of nine committees that develop policy for the league, is of particular interest to city clerks. Ushijima said the committee’s scope includes election law, the Fair Political Practices Act and the Brown Act.
Ushijima, a certified municipal clerk, has served Beverly Hills for 23 years.
