I enjoyed Daniel Cerone’s telling piece on MTV’s Tabitha Soren in your “Faces ‘93” article Jan. 1.
Soren was responsible for one of my favorite quotes of last year. Interviewing various artists in the pre-show portion of the MTV Awards at UCLA in September, she asked Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes about their elaborate videos, and the subject naturally turned to film. “Lately,” Chris explained, “I’ve just been really interested in the work of Sam Peckinpah,” to which Soren replied, “And who’s that?”
