Burlington Air Express: The Irvine cargo express company, a subsidiary of Pittston Co., reported 1992 operating earnings of $15.1 million, down 23% from a profit of $19.7 million for the previous 12 months. The company said the decline took place during the first half of the year as the result of pricing weakness across the air-freight industry.
