Gloria Molina (“The Politics of Anger,” by Hector Tobar, Jan. 3) has been winning elections precisely because she has had the correct focus. It’s time that bureaucrats are bullied and scolded to perform their jobs. It’s time that politics as usual changes.
Our school systems do not serve the students adequately. Health care delivery performs poorly and most politicians fail to do their jobs well.
Many of us have known and supported Molina for a long time. She may be tough, but she is fair. She finds waste and tries to correct it. She finds incompetence and tries to expose it. We need more Gloria Molinas.
