Security Environmental Systems: The Garden Grove biomedical and hazardous-waste disposal company posted a profit of $1.6 million, or 12 cents a share, for its latest fiscal quarter. That contrasted with earnings of $200,200, or 1 cent a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the second fiscal quarter, which ended Dec. 31, more than doubled to $4.6 million from $1.8 million. For the first half of fiscal 1993, the company’s earnings totaled $1.6 million, or 12 cents a share, on revenue of $7.4 million. For the corresponding six months last year, the company had a profit of $250,840, or 1 cent a share, on revenue of $3.5 million.
