LA HABRA : Crime in Business Areas to Be Targeted

Local business people are being invited to attend a Business Watch meeting being organized by the Police Department on Wednesday in an effort to find ways to prevent and stop crimes in the city’s commercial areas.
Police Chief Steven Staveley, three detectives and a crime prevention officer will discuss fraud, auto theft and other topics. A Spanish-speaking officer also will be on hand to translate.
The meeting will start at 9 a.m. at the Police Department, 150 N. Euclid St.
