U.S. Markets Expected to Be Open: The winter storm that paralyzed much of the East Coast over the weekend was not expected to disrupt financial markets today. “We don’t anticipate any impact on our operations or systems because of the storm,” a spokesman for the New York Stock Exchange said. He said that with most of New York City’s transportation systems running, “People should be able to get where they want to go.”
