TALL STORY: Jeff Nadeau of Monroe High in Sepulveda (above) celebrates after clearing 7 feet, 2 1/4-inches in the high jump at the Valley Pac-8 Conference track and field finals Thursday. The leap by the University of Arizona-bound senior was a City Section record and the second-best high school mark in the nation this season. . . . It also was his personal best--by a whopping 6 1/4 inches (C10).
