Nogales 56, Highland 30--The Nobles outran Highland (0-3-1) on the strength of Demetrius Stanpley’s two touchdowns and Lance Davis’ five-touchdown performance.
Montclair Prep 48, Holtville 10--Wilbert Smith rushed for 297 yards and one touchdown in 18 caarries for Montclair Prep (4-0) at Holtville in a meeting of defending Southern Section champions. The Mounties amassed 470 yards and won their 24th consecutive game.
Junior quarterback Darrell Dent completed nine of 14 passes for 135 yards and three touchdowns.
