SIMI VALLEY : Brightly Dressed Man Robs Bank

A bank robber dressed in conspicuously bright-colored clothing got away with an unknown amount of cash Friday after handing a teller a demand note at a Bank of America branch in Simi Valley, police said.
The robber wore a bright multicolored beanie, a bright orange shirt and bright-colored pants during the heist at 5821 Los Angeles Ave., said Lt. Neal Rein of the Simi Valley Police Department.
“I think he looked like Chuckles the clown,” Rein said. “He definitely was not trying to blend in.”
The robber fled the scene on foot, Rein said. Witnesses told police the robber was black, 5-foot-8 and about 150 pounds.
