Zig Ziglar, motivational speaker and author, has agreed to become a spokesman for Money Mailer Inc., the Garden Grove company said.
The company, which uses franchisees to produce advertising flyers and coupons for small businesses and mail them directly to consumers’ homes, hopes that Ziglar will help to bring in more entrepreneurs who want to set up franchises, said Kris O. Friedrich, company founder and president.
The advertising campaign with Ziglar will include television and radio commercials and print ads. Ziglar, a former salesman, has written nine books, including “See You at the Top.”
Money Mailer, which was founded in 1979, is hoping to sign its 500th franchisee by the end of 1993, Friedrich said. The company had 490 outlets on Dec. 1.
