Flamemaster, PerfectData Raise Stake in PermaByte

Sun Valley chemicals concern Flamemaster Corp. and PerfectData Corp., a Simi Valley maker of office cleaning products, said they raised their joint stake in PermaByte Inc. from 55% to 70%.
PermaByte, based in San Diego, makes computer floppy disks, disk holders and custom-made parts for various office products. PermaByte reported sales of about $4.4 million last year. Flamemaster and its affiliates own 33% of PerfectData’s outstanding common stock.
