Master’s Earns 12th Consecutive Win

NEWHALL — The Master’s College men’s basketball team made visiting California Chrisitian look out of its league with a 106-48 nonconference victory Thursday.
The Mustangs shot 68% from the floor and outrebounded California Christian, 50-12. The victory was the 12th in a row for Master’s, which improved to 23-3 in the NAIA with four games remaining on the schedule.
Leo Gorauskas, a 6-foot-9 freshman center from Sao Paulo, Brazil, finished with a game-high 27 points and 14 rebounds for the Mustangs. He also had two assists, two blocked shots and two steals. Guard James Mosley made three of four three-point attempts en route to scoring 19. Three other Master’s players scored in double figures.
The Mustangs shot 68% in each half and scored 63 points in each half. California Christian scored 24 points in each half.
