Lost: One incompetent general manager. Goes by the name of Nick Beverley. Usually sits in the press box of the Forum with the other two members of the Kings’ brain trust, all of whom just seem to twiddle their thumbs. Last seen before the earthquake. A reward is being offered by his owner: The ransom being charged to the Kings’ season ticket-holders for the playoffs.
