PALMDALE — Sheriff’s deputies arrested three men and one teen-ager Monday for last week’s slaying of a jewelry store employee, who was shot in the upper chest during a robbery, authorities said.
Arrested were Tyrran Delvon Wilson, 20; Walter Lenard Johnson, 19; Antonio Lee Roberts, 20; and a 16-year-old boy; all from Palmdale, according to Deputy Larry Mead of the Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau.
Last Friday, deputies responded to a 911 call at 1:11 p.m. from a passerby who looked into Charles Jewelers at 38513 Sierra Hwy. and saw smashed display cases.
When authorities arrived, they found 45-year-old Sung Heeh Hwang lying on the floor, Mead said. Hwang had been working alone.
Authorities have not released an estimated value of the jewelry taken during the robbery.
