Dense-Pac Gets $1.5-Million Memory Chips Order

GARDEN GROVE — Dense-Pac Microsystems Inc. said Wednesday that it received a $1.5-million order from Zitel Corp. to produce a set of memory chips stacked one on top of the other.

Dense-Pac said it would deliver its second-generation chips later this year to Zitel in Fremont, which builds high-capacity computer storage systems that require packing lots of electronic circuits together in a tight space.
