Northrop to Get Grumman Data: Northrop Corp. formally launched its $2-billion tender offer to buy Grumman Corp. and said Grumman agreed to provide Northrop with the same non-public information about the company that it earlier gave Martin Marietta Corp. Grumman had accepted a $55-a-share takeover offer from Martin before Los Angeles-based Northrop bested that deal last week by announcing its $60-a-share bid. Grumman’s stock, meanwhile, climbed 62.5 cents to $65.375 on the NYSE.
