Nancy Mayerson Opens Own Publicity Agency

Nancy Mayerson, former public relations director of the Murphy Organization, an Oxnard advertising and public relations firm, has launched her own agency in Westlake Village.
Clients of the new company, Mayerson Marketing & Public Relations, include various units of the UCLA Medical Center, Cal Lutheran University, the Ventura County Transportation Commission and the Commuter Computer network.
The commission has awarded Mayerson a two-year contract to help market VISTA, a new countywide bus system scheduled to start this summer.
