Officials representing any community service agency providing food and shelter are invited to attend a meeting of the Orange County Emergency Food and Shelter Board Tuesday, a Red Cross spokeswoman said.
The meeting is designed to aid the board in deciding how best to spend about $309,000 in state grants that are intended to help community service groups provide emergency shelter and other local assistance, said Judy Iannaccone of the Red Cross.
The 8:30 a.m. meeting will be at the American Red Cross, 601 N. Golden Circle Drive in Santa Ana.
