BRIEFLY : Business: Hotel Gets New Manager

Peter Kretschmann, former Capital Hilton manager in Washington, has replaced Richard Cotter as general manager of the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Kretschmann, 41, began his career in 1970 in his native Germany. He worked throughout Europe and Israel before coming to the United States in 1978.
The huge hotel has 581 guest rooms, 24 meeting rooms and three ballrooms.
