Granada Hills Starts Quickly Behind Tihinen

Nick Tihinen scattered seven hits and struck out two as Granada Hills West defeated West Hills, 9-4, in an American Legion District 20 baseball game at Granada Hills High on Friday.

Tihinen (3-2) walked four batters and allowed one run over the first six innings as Granada Hills West (7-12) cruised to a 9-1 lead.

Ed Kinzler had two hits and drove in three runs for Granada Hills West and teammate Nick Pikor was two for two.
